…you’re a gem! Having a ball on our passage through the central Greek islands in up to 40knots of wind. Happy days!

Jordon and Andreas

Saturday, September 5th, 2009

Thanks a million J&A for the good times we had together. We’ll remember the great conversations we had, good food, even more wine and some fantastic diving. You’re a really great couple and we wish you best of luck for your study and next adventure.

BE will set sail tomorrow… direction Spain. We’ll take our time and reckon it will take us about 2-3 months. Looking for crew as usual… We’ll miss Turkey, though.

Thanks Karen & Bruce for a great time. Hard to believe that you haven’t sailed before, because you picked everything up so easily… All the best for your travel and ideas. Looking forward to seeing you again.

BE is booked out as usual. First Chloes parents plus grand parents and then my parents. One week break and soon new visitors… Only issue at the moment is that our fancy 3G internet aboard from Turkcell stopped after 3 weeks because they decided to block foreign devices- great! but who cares… ;-)

Welcome Hayley

Wednesday, May 27th, 2009

Chloe’s good friend Hayley is joining us for a week on the passage Rhodes back to Bodrum. May take her to our ‘private’ bay, which is still unknown to the charter and Gullet crowds… and that’s how we want to keep it ;-)

Isn’t she pretty

BE is enjoying some magical sailing in gentle to fresh winds… (no signs yet of the strong uncomfortable Mentemi which can make life difficult during the summer months)

Look at this water!!!

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

Even the Pacific or the Maldives would struggle to keep up with this cristal clear water in Turkey. Still a little bit nippy but every day of sunshine gets us closer to the perfect swimming. Boat is loaded up full with treats and we’re trying to dodge the summer crowds on our quest for the last unspoiled anchorages…

Now I see…

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

Finally we get to know what it is like to sail without any commitments to be at a certain place at a cerain date. And it is fantastic! Just going with the wind, skipping bad weather and enjoying the good days to the fullest. Daysailing from one anchorage to the other. Catching up with good friends like Aleksey or Mike and Danıelle. That’s the way! …and I don’t even worry anymore that we still have no clue on what to do for work or even where to live in the future. It will all come together soon… I reckon… maybe …well, who cares!

G`Day Roisin

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

We`re now three again, with lovely Aussie Roisin complementing the core crew! Diesel topped up, water full and most importantly fridge full… ready to do some sailing. Direction: wherever the wind will take us (but hopefully westwards…)
